Your breast size after breastfeeding.?
im currently nursing my 2nd baby.(also nursed my first). i always heard stories about how your breast sag after breastfeeding. well.. i USED to be a firm, perky, beautiful B-cup. after i weaned my first my breasts became these empty, sagging, lifeless bags of skin, lol! absolutely NO fullness whatsoever. right now the have some fullness because they're full of milk..im enjoying the cleavage i used to have but im not looking forward to what they will become once i wean this baby! I've met other women who breastfed but they were a c-cup or bigger and their boobs still remained firm or "plump" post breastfeeding. is it only noticeable in smaller breasted women( the emptiness)? anyone care to share their breast changes..if any.(for those that nursed).

I breastfed my first for 20 months and my second for 22 months. I think the key is to wear a maternity bra day and night in pregnancy and a nursing bra day and night while breastfeeding. My boobs have remained firm and don't sag at all. However, I have gone from a C to a D cup.
I've heard that it takes a little time after you wean for your breast to go "back to normal." I'm not sure how much time there was between your children. Maybe some of the fullness would have returned if you had waited longer before the second baby, and thus it will return after this baby. As someone else answered, I have heard that exercise helps.
In general, it's all genetics. Plus, it's usually pregnancy that makes your boobs sag…not really the act of breastfeeding. Anyways. Mine aren't as full as they used to be, I breastfed my daughter for 16 months, but they're still the same old size A. They got up to a D while first breastfeeding! Huge! Haha.
After I nursed and weaned my 1st daughter I kept a cup size. It took them a while to lose the "empty" feeling but I wore sports bras that were a size too small all the time and it helped. It ended up being like a "natural" lift. Because it caused the breasts to be squished up it helped the excess skin to be reabsorbed/tightened to the point where I could go out bra-less on occasion. It takes a year or so which isn't bad considering it took about that long for them to sag! Doing exercise that strengthens the pectoral muscles also helps. I plan on doing the same thing this time when I get done weaning my twins. Good Luck!
Think of those droopy boobs as your badge of honor along with stretch marks.. If it really bothers you, see a plastic surgeon and get a lift. Before I had my first baby I was a AB size, they ended up as C's but it makes little difference if the C isn't a perka perka LOL. Nothing wrong with you having little flippy's, at least they won't droop to your belly button like a larger cup will. Source(s): mom of 3
I was a B cup before I got pregnant EVER. I breast fed for 16 months and was pregnant again and they didn't go back to the original size because they were growing for the new baby. When he was 3 months I had to go back to work and couldn't breast feed with that job. After about 4 – 6 months they were back at a B cup from a D! They were not as firm as before, but were small still. I am now pregnant with #3 and they're blowing up like balloons again. I went from a B to a D again. I don't know how it will affect me this time, but I am assuming it will be similar to the last time. Source(s): Mommy to 3 1/2 year old girl, 17 month old boy, and 29 weeks pregnant with another boy.
I think my breasts shrunk after I weaned my babies (I nursed four of them) but didn't sag until I got older. I'm sure exercise would help firm things up a bit.
