WOMEN: what do you think of guys who are highly into skin care and cosmetics?
i know most women like guys which take care of themselves but most guys do this by simply getting god hairstyles and facial hair combinations etc. What do women actually think of guys who are highly into skin care methods like facial masks, cleaners, moisturize? Does this come off as too girly to some of you? Perhaps it implies that the guy is not willing to get dirty and is more of a good face and nothing else?

For the skin care, it's totally fine, my boyfriend makes me laughs when he's like: ''Where the f@#k is the moisturizer!!!'', and then he'll be like: '' Oh it's right there, Never mind , hun! He's one cooky boyfriend, Ha ha ha!But cosmetics is a big NO NO, I wanna be the one that takes 5 hours in the bathroom, not the man! It's just going over board if the man is into cosmetics, but cosmetics can be shower gels, conditinures and others, that's fine but typically for make up, no. I like guys who looks after himself, face washes and face creams and occasional masking is fine to me. Or even plucking eyebrows…If he has very very bushy brows or mono brows..then he really should consider brow plucking or I would do it for him.Make-up….um…NO. I understand….a little concealer for occasional pimple and reducing redness…but eyeliner? eyebrow pencil? foundation? NOOO no no, I would have second thoughts about the man.
I think its sad that men are now being conned into believing that skincare for men will do all that the skincare cosmetics for women promised but never delivered. It is just a way for these cosmetic companies to sell the dream to a bigger consumer base. I wonder why it took them so long.If these skincare ranges did what they promised, all the botox peddlers and cosmetic surgeons would be out of business.
guys who behaves such a way are turn-off for me
theres nothing wrong with a guy taking care of himself.lol, women put so much effort into taking care of there skin, hair etc and trying to look their best ,its only fair that guys return the favour sometimes. you men can make yourself prettier if you want its fine by me!!!
Well if a man is into using those kinds of products should be accepted for wanting to take good care of his skin, if women are aloud to do it then why not men? it doesnt mean the man is gay or just a pretty face. Source(s): Me
Whatever product you decide on whether its from a drug store dermatologist or department store make sure it has spf15 or higher in it. This is the best agent to help with anti aging because it protects your skin from becoming damaged and losing its radiance. You only get one face in your whole life and u want it to stay gorgeous and healthy so it's great that you want to take care of it.Some people show signs earlier than others. But, I suppose it wouldn't really hurt if you started early even if you don't have anything to worry about. Doing that will even stall the aging process…I have personally tried lots of products ranging from the super expensive ones, to a couple of free trials being offered for free for a limited time. The BEST one that has worked for me is the AGE DEFYING MASK. It is totally amazing and really does the trick and best of all, it is being offered as a FREE trial at http://www.best-antiaging-skin-products0o0comGet it now before the free trial is over since I guess they will be charging good money for it later on
Hope I helped by sharing my experience. If you have any questions, please email me.
I think skin care or getting good hairstyles are fine. I mean it is good for women that now days men are taking care of their looks as well. They should also look good to impress a woman. However I do not think much about men using cosmetics though. Source(s): http://www.afterglowcosmetics0o0com/
That doesn't sound very manly, my first thought was gay lol. Only because the only men I've ever known to use skin products and masks were in fact gay. For a guy to wash his face in the shower with a facial cleanser , yeah that's normal. But for him to go all out on cleansers, toners, moisturizers and masks is a little odd. I agree with the others, it is a turn off, like they care too much about their looks. I like the men who beam with confidence and look good without doing all that crap, because most of them don't even need it.
Skin care is fine, it doesn't make me think any different of a man. My boyfriend takes very good care of his skin, and hell – it's better than NOT taking care of it right? Cosmetics on the other hand, big no for me. A little too feminine. I am supposed to be the lady in the relationship and do girly things, not my boyfriend. But that's just me, I dig masculinity. I like scruffy, manly, men :p
well I like pretty boys lol..and Id much rather him be obsessed with washing and moistizing than have a greasy dirty face lol…but if he talked about cosmetics a lot that would weird me out and wearing any makeup is weird to me.. I mean it looks good but not my thing
Skin cleansers and moisturizers are ok but COSMETICS? Come on..
I think he's really a woman.
If you are nice to people and confident girls don't really care wheather you are into that stuff or if you are a bit more grunge. As long as you be yourself and be confident girl will flock you as you are no matter that that is…answere mine?Do i suit blonde or brown hair? pics included?http://media.photobucket0o0com/image/taylor%20parks%20site%20model/SiteModelsInc/Taylor-1.jpg?o=1
Not girly so much as vain and vain men are a turn-off
