   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Typically car insurance doesn't decrease until you turn 25. I know it sucks being under 25 and paying car insurance. When you turn 25 it's called the 25 Milestone.    no your insurance wont drop till you're about 21 i have american family and mine didn't drop till i was 21 and then dropped again when i was 22, also if you stay with your parents past you turning 18 it will drop also if you attend college full time and receive good grades most insurance companies will give you a discount usually called something like the good student discount. Also it tends to be cheaper if you pay for more months at a time then just month to month. Source(s): Experince

   for the most part most males the insurance wont drop until they are the age of 25
