Will I get loose skin?
I remember having a 6-pack in high school and being somewhere from 140lbs. and a 30W jeans size easy. When I got to my senior year and in to college I gained weight. Over the course of a year or two I ended up being barely fitting into a 34W jean size and topping 200lbs. Jelly rolls and what not. Stretch marks. All that good stuff. Keep in mind I'm a guy whose 5' 8". Just thought yall should know you experts at this.
My question is I'm planning on losing weight. Let's say I lose those 60lbs…. Will my skin be as firm as it was before the weight loss. I don't care about stretch marks so don't mention those. Shea butter can take care of that. But will my skin be like before or will it be loose and not the same or flabby. You know what I mean? Any tips?

No of course not, don't worry cells will adjust and will fit over. just don't keep working yourself do a heathy diet excersise and all but losing too much will be unheathlyAA
Hm….I believe if you have stretch marks…that obviously means your skin has stretched a bit. You still didn't gain so much weight that you will have all this extra flabby skin. I do think that when you loose the weight though it will not be AS firm as it used to…but I don't think you will notice the difference. You should just loose the weight while you still have you still have your nice bouncy skin right now. And if you just do alot of workouts that will tone your body. That should help alot!I wish you good luck!
If you lose the weight fast, yes. Like if you do a huge "crash" diet of melons and water… then yes. If you change your diet, and work out religiously, then no. You need to do weight lifting to tone muscles and also tone up the "flabby" skin. Cardio will help lose the weight, along with a proper diet, and the weight lifitng will help with the flabby skin part. You just have to lose weight like a normal person should – 30 pounds in 1 month. I'd aim at about 6-8 pounds a month.
The formula for losing weight is easy – consume less food and workout more often – the difficulties surface when we in reality try to put that into operation! There are a lot of temptations in the real world aren't there?! I uncovered some good information by visiting the website in the box below, they have a lot of tips and tricks, I shed 5 pounds by using their methods. Source(s): junets.fat-burnstore0o0info
It depends. If you go for a harsh diet in which you lose a lot of fat very fast, then your skin won't be able to keep up and will look losse and stretched out. But if you go for a long term diet, your skin will have the time to tighten and adapt to your body size.
As long as you loose the weight slowly and steadily you shouldn't have loose skin. Now if you crash dieted and lost it too fast then you would but then you'd gain the weight back anyway. But as long as you loose it healthily then your skin should be fine =)
You can tone muscle that will be firm, but it takes 7 years to replace every cell in the body. Skin adheres to the body. You will look fine. Use a loofah sponge over the areas of dead skin when bathing to promote new growth. Source(s): http://www.righthealth0o0com/topic/human_body_cells
since you are young then i doubt you will have any loose skin but just in case, loose it slowly and eat well. My tip is that you should eat when you are hungry, like properly hungry and eat healthily.
good luck
Losing weight happens slowly enough that you shouldnt have loose skin but if you do it will disapear quite quickly if not you could always have lapban surgery
Not if you lose the weight at a normal pace (not super fast) and exercise. The people who have loose skin usually use quickie diets or lose a larger amount than 60 lbs.
your cells will adjust and the skin will become thicker, it is probably thinner than in high school now, and how your skin looks should not influence you trying to loose weight
it might be loose at first, but since ur young its gunna be good after a little while… if u were over 30 it would be different
well i used to weigh 260 and went down to 180 and yea i have loose skin it really sucks
Theres a yes and no answer to that question. It all depends on how you chose to lose the weight. If you decide to lose it the healthy way at only 1-2 pounds MAX a week then yes, your skin will be tighter then ever. But, if you chose to lose any more then 1-2 pounds a wek you will end up with lose skin in the end as you'd be losing the weight unhealthily. Also to try and keep your stomache as tight as it can be I'd reccomend adding in some abdominal exercises along with the dieting and cardio. Once they get too easy just add weight from there. Good luck on getting back your 6 pack. Just take your time; no rushing and all is good.
I've lost over 50lbs once, but didn't get any sagging or stretch marks. The key at least for me, was that I exercised several times a day. If it was school sports, it would be floor exercises, mixed with bike riding. I wanted to be sure every bite was burned off so I could get to my goal. I lost the weight fast, but it was coupled with strict exercise of all different types, except running. I did a variety of machines in the gym circuit & actually "confused the muscles" which is considered a "new theory" now! I just got bored easily. Before bed, I'd do a few more floor exercises to make up for my body doing nothing during sleep. If you grotesquely obese, like hundreds of lbs., that's when the hanging skin becomes a problem. They're so badly out of shape they can't exercise effectively yet & they have no muscle tone to continue to keep the metabolism up. Hope for the best! Source(s): RN
