   It’s something scientific. Like for females we may naturally go for a guy who has more testosterone. Or guys may go for a girl with a softer voice. Everyone is different. But it is what bodies are saying, 'this person seems ideal to have children with'. It’s instinct. Also another reason could be through the media that’s what is said to be beautiful etc. Like in the olden days it was quite different. In old paintings the woman didn’t have big breast and slender bodies; it was the other way around. I mean nowadays we can get food from nearly anywhere, if you live in the average place. But in the olden days I guess it was harder to get food and the woman who had more solid bodies represented being healthy. It really does vary. Sometimes opposites attract, sometimes the other way around.

   Every individual is different, and will like different physical things in another individual. You will like different physical features to your friend, for example.Blue, green and grey eyes seem to be the minority since darker colours such as black or brown are dominant. People like different, and that is different.I prefer short hair on a girl to long hair, although I would agree blonde is very sexy.Believe it or not the traits of your mother or father figure you will find you like in your partner.    The media has a lot to do with it. If you see a supermodel on tv and she has blonde hair and blue eyes and they are calling her the most beautiful woman in the world, you will soon associate blonde hair and blue eyes with physical attractiveness, this is especially for really young people because they will be the most influenced.

   Each person likes certain things. Like me, I like big eyes. Some people don't like that. Each person just over time develops their own preferences to people. That's why some models are more popular too. If they look like someone that a person likes, then they will be more popular.

   Weird, I prefer grey eyes, smaller noses, short hair on girls and long hair on guys.

   It has a lot to do with society, media, etc and what they're telling us is considered beautiful. Eating disorders in children as young as 7 wouldn't be as prevalent if there weren't people surrounding them throwing the image that they aren't good enough and can only be beautiful if they're of a specific stature.When I was younger I thought I was ugly, I have blue eyes but I have chestnut/caramel hair and very fair skin. Even now all I see are blonde girls with orange skin. Personally though I'm more attracted to shorter hair on girls and brown eyes and darker hair. I'm not sure why, it could be me subconsciously rebelling from what society says is beautiful. It's a good question.
