Why do Blacks discriminate against each other?
I'm a 15 year old high school school student and i happen to be a darker skinned african american. I don't know if its only this big with blacks but it seems to me that the darker you are the more hell you catch from anyone lighter than you. It's the lighter against the dark and the dark against the darker. Im not saying that every african american is against one another. I just simply want a different view from everyone, i dont care what race or color you are, and to all darker african americans i want to know if you experience this or have experiened it. If yes how has(does) it made you feel?

Believe it or not it stems from slavery and thats what use to happen..The slave owners would favor and treat the fairer skin black people better and the darker you were the more you were treated like scum. The fair skin black people who were allowed to be house slaves and were taught to think of and treat the darker field workers like crap. They just used to turn black people against each other like that and it never went away. Its the same within the asian and latin community aswell for similar reasons.
because the mexicans are pulling ahead in the battle for supremacy
You might as well ask why does anyone discriminate against anyone else? Because your different and they aren't comfortable enough with themselves to accept anyone different than them.
well, i'm not from the us, but africandescendants in my country tend to be racist between themselves. the thing is, that they live in a very racist society that makes fun of every black aspect there is, like large nose, big lips, "bad" curly hair, black smell, etc. so, in order for lighter skinned to "survive", they prefer to "enhance" they lighter skin, or similar-to-caucasian physical attributes, as caucasians are the "good" ones in all this. darker skinned people, as have less ways to fit into the "good" models, tend to emphasize their african descent and black pride. So this clashes between the two tendencies, as you've just noticed.I have a light skinned african descendant friend that tends to do as i described before. and no, he does not get along very well with darker skinned people. but anyways, being racist works for him just fine….
Same reason all other humans do. Pride (the bad kind, the kind that turns people nuts). Other than that reasons for being haters could be cultural based on something that happened centuries ago but what do I know I'm not black.
