   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters You are backwards, calling all girls superficial, simple-minded and shallow while you are saying that most girls on here are very average and some ugly.You are stereotyping girls, AKA being sexist. Your "all girls are shallow" theory has so many holes in it, it's ridiculous and not nearly viable. It seems as if for some reason, you WANT to believe that all girls are shallow.Girls are so worried about their appearance because that's what guys see, comment on, and how guys judge girls at least at first.

   Actually most women have to be so superficial because MEN are shallow chauvinistic pigs. For men, women's looks are the most important thing about them, please don't tell me otherwise it's pre-programmed into their heads, there have been many scientific surveys which proves this. Humans are one of the few species where the women have to dress up and put on a show. Aren't you being shallow/superficial yourself when you say that most of the girls in this section are average and ugly. Asshole.

   Most of the guys on here are naturally ugly and want to look better- you don't see naturally hot looking guys on Beauty forums, do you? Naturally pretty girls still want to look prettier though.The female population on here is just hotter than the male. Stop being bitter.

   sorry but thats the way we are…reality is if you see a dog ugly girl checking you out your not gonna be impressed…if guys see a stunningly beautiful girl checking them out there all up for it…if only girls liked in the world i can garantee you that most of us would be goin around in sweat pants and a jumper with hardly any makeup on =)

   ya i agree……but its not really their fault…….all girls see magazines w/ retouched pics and look at celebs w/ makeup and see impossible standards of beauty thta they'll never meet which is why they're insecure and need assurance and besides we live in a superficial world….if a guy didnt say he liked big boobs no one would get a boob job or nose job or lip job…..

   ii agreee with what yuu aree saying but then im being hyprocritical becausee ii lovee too wear makee up and takes hours too getready and yeah it is about first impressions but yuu dont want to walk round looking stupid with loads of slap on otherwisee people just laugh and snigger about yuu behind your back but if yuu dont put effort in too making yourself look at least half decent and then people think yuu dont careee about yourself appearanceee but ii hatee people who walk around as if they own thee placeee well thaats just my opiniom x

    Girls care about their looks because they think GUYS care about their looks. It's biology. Guys are attracted to the best looking girls, so girls try to be the best looking. Yes, it's sad, but that's the way it is. It's also the way the beauty industry makes money…they make girls feel insecure with their impossible beauty standards so people will buy the products to try and "fix" themselves. The people posting "Am I Pretty" questions are asking for opinions, so they're going to get them. If someone doesn't think they're attractive, that's their opinon. "There aren't very many good-looking girls at all in this section"- That's just your opinion. Why does it matter to you anyway? You're the one ranting about people caring too much about beauty.You're being shallow too, since you're stereotyping all girls/women to be shallow. Have you met every single woman in the world? If not, you have no right to generalize like that.

    I don't agree. We see a lot of "girls, do you think I'm hot" posts from guys as well.Sure, a lot of the people who post her seem to be obsessed about their looks, but you are only seeing one part of their personality. We don't sit around in this section and discuss world issues, but many of us do in other formats. For example, I am working on my masters in Anthropology, and I'm learning Hindi and Farsi.
