Why am I getting acne?!?

Okay, so I'm 15, almost 16. My whole life, I've always had really nice skin. I rarely would ever get pimples. I've notieced that past month or two, I've been getting a lot more acne. I've tried a ton of products, mainly all drug store, except I've tried clinique 3 step. I have pretty dry skin, and I keep getting pimples on my forehead! My cheek area is pefect, no pimples at all, but on my foreheard i've got like 6 or 7 pimples. When I cover it up, it looks pretty good, but I want to get rid of them!
Any tips?
I switched the makeup I was using too, and nothings changed. My mom won't take me to a dermatologist,but she said she won't mind buying me something like Proactiv.
So I need a good product for my forehead, to clear pimples/redness for normal to dry skin.
I take good care of my skin. I wash off my makeup every night, and i always cleanse, tone, and moisturize.
I just don't understand why now I'm getting acne. Does that mean anything?

It is very, very common with teenagers, particularly at your age. Just a part of growing up.Your diet will have a fair bit to do with it. Oily food seems to make it worse. People always accuse chocolate, but it is usually the cheaper chocolate (with palm kernal oil, instead of chocolate liquor) that does it for me. So, lots of fruit and veggies, which is good advice anyway, but really important for good skin.Hopefully, you will grow out of it. Most do. That's what everyone told me, but I am now 50, and still waiting!

I had the same problem as you.I tried a bunch of creams like clean and clear and all they did was irritate my skin. I went to a dermitologist and they prescribed me with this gel you can get at a pharmacy called acania gel. It cleared my skin up in 2 weeks tops and it didn't irritate my skin.I still use it and it maintains my skin clear. Since you have only a few they hsould be gone by a week! Good luck! =]

i have the same problem, i used proactive and it didnt really help my skin. but who knows, maybe try it and see how it works. good luckkk.
