Best Answer – Chosen by Voters MAC Studio Fix is your best bet. Very good foundation, doesn't slip into your pores and I think it's one of the best coverage foundations available. To smooth your skin, use an smooth exfoliator daily before sleeping (or a tougher exfoliant if you only plan on using it twice a week). Use the exfoliator and splash cool water on your face to close your pores. Use moisturizer before sleeping as well. I'd actually suggest a tinted moisturizer and concealer to you. Use your concealer on problem areas than smooth across your tinted moisturizer to get a polished look. Use loose powder too if you want. Good luck! I use Neutrogena Skinclearing blemish concealer. It has acne medication in it so it clears blemishes as it conceals. It clears blemishes after a couple days of using it. After using concealer i suggest putting a translucent powder on with a powder puff. This will set the concealer (and foundation if you use that after concealer.) and give a nice, natural finish. This shouldn't look cakey when you do this and if it does then you're probably using too much. hope this helps and good luck!
if you want natural coverage and for it not to feel so heavyi would suggest bare mineralsi've used bare minerals before and it helps a lot with acneit makes it go away and it covers up pretty goodmac is also really good but it may worsen your breakouts Source(s): i've used bare minerals
I find compact/stick foundations the best for covering acne. The L'Oreal Quick Stick works pretty well. You also might want to try Avon's IDEAL SHADE Cream-to-Powder Foundation SPF 15. Source(s): http://www.avonrepresentative0o0com/steste…
That's probably because it doesn't match your skin tone.Go to "Mac".Go to them and say "I want to cover this, do you have coverup?"They will make it match your skin tone.
Makeup forever HD foundation is a godsend. A little more expensive than MAC, but definitely worth it.Also, try using a primer… it might even help with your current foundation.
definitely use clinique if you want to look naturalbut MAC would probably be the best because it has very good coverage even if u only put a little bit on and it doesn't looked caked on =)
I used to have the same problems I first put on ciloque then wet and wild foundation, and the jane. powder. Worked great for me!
bare minerals
what you can do is use a skin tone color treatment that matches your skin color.
