Which is better-Proactiv or Clinique?
A year or two ago I had very oily skin that was prone to breakouts. I started using Proactiv once a day and it really dried out my skin but at the same time managed most of my pimples. I am considering transferring to the Clinique acne system. I guess I would classify my skin as combination dry, but I think the only reason it is dry is because of the Proactiv. Would anyone recommend Clinique skin care products for my skin type? And if so which ones and why?
Also, please keep in mind I am not asking for other suggestions, I am just wondering about the comparisons between these two products for me. Thanks! <3

Very rarely is a single 'system' the perfect match for anyone's skin type. Clinique might be the better option since you can choose which products would be the best match to your skin, the problem is you'd still be choosing within their line (which may not contain the best products for your skin type). Personally, I'd say go to Sephora and ask one of the consultants there. Tell them what you're using and that you want to switch to Clinique (they even sell it there) and see what they think or if they have any other products that they would suggest more. The problem with going to a department store is that they ARE paid on commission on THEIR companies products, so they're a little more biased on getting you into what they sell rather than what might be the best. I actually did this last night, I went there to switch to Clinique and the associate recommended some other products that she thought would work better (one was even a drug store brand that they didn't sell) and sent me home with some trial of a few of the other products. One night and I already see a difference.
