Which dress out of these looks better?

Okay, so I have an upcoming bat mitzvah party coming up, and I need a dress to wear. I have posted a question about this before, and i have come down to two dresses.

Please RATE THEM 1-10 and say which one you like most and why. Don't just say it's ugly, say WHY it might be ugly.. Also say which one you would wear more, and which one is the prettiest. Thank you..

DRESS #1

This dress is from forever 21. I like this dress a lot but there's just two main reasons why I think of not buying it. First of all, i think this dress is way to short. Secondly, I think that the color patterns, (pink+black) make it a little gothic, which is NOT my style.. though the floral pattern does twist it around.. But overall, to me it's a pretty dress. DRESS #2

Okay, so I really like this dress. This one is from urban outfitters, and btw, money is not a problem so I don't care that this one is more expensive. Some reviews on this dress say that the straps on the back are a problem, but I can tailor it. Everything about it I love.. but I don't really like the color choices. I think there are more colors in the store, so I'm going to check that out. The best color out of the three colors they show, I think, is the bright red one. If you have any other dresses to reccommend, that would be great. I like nordstrom, urban outfitters, and forever21. Other big brands would be good too. I like spaghetti and thick straps. NO shoulder or strapless dresses. I like SWINGY SKIRTS with the dress, not a pencil skirt. Bright colors might be a problem, and I'm not a big fan of stripes either, so please help me.

NOTE: I AM A LITTLE DARK SKINNED SO PLEASE TELL ME WHICH ONE WOULD LOOK BEST ON ME. I ALSO HAVE BLACK HAIR
