   Buy the clinique first. Having good skin will help your current makeup to look amazing. Mac will just cover up bad skin.

   Get the skincare system first. MAC makes excellent makeup, but even the best makeup cannot conceal irritated skin. I haven't used the Clinique system, but I've heard only good things about it. Also, while MAC's makeup is light and clean, it will probably irritate your acne more if you try to use it as a cover-up all the time. If you do purchase it, you'll want to get a liquid foundation and a bottle of plain (no scents, etc.) moisturizer. Use the liquid foundation as a concealer for current zits, then mix equal parts foundation and concealer and apply it with clean fingers by tapping it onto your face, then touch up the concealed zits with a little more undiluted foundation. All of their makeup is quite nice and your goal should be to find a match to your skintone. Lucky you–MAC does one free makeover to test samples of makeup with your coloration. Ask a salesperson to help you figure it out. Again, preferably wait until your skin is showing improvement from the skincare system.

   I think that you could get a LOT more stuff for $50 at this website (or any number of online retailers who don't have to spend as much on marketing as the dept store brands and whose products are just as good if not better):http://www.silknaturals0o0com/creb/The Silk Naturals skin care stuff is way better than Clinique.    You should buy the clinique skin care system because you can wear a lot of makeup, but real beauty is good skin

   well think of it this way if u want to get the makeup u can use it to cover up your breakouts,redness,and visible pores
