What race is my baby?
I have no clue what my baby is? Are italians Latinos? They asked me that at the doctors office and I decline because I dont know what he is?
Here is a picture of what he looks like: http://i614.photobucket0o0com/albums/tt221…
I dont think he's white is he? My husband and I we both have dark hair and white olive skin… To me it doesnt even matter obviously, but they ask you that everywhere you go? Doctors, day care etc. and I dont know what to say???

Race is self-defined as it is the group you identify with … so you can choose to call him what race you please. Italian, Irish, Croatian etc. are Caucasian and Cuban is Hispanic.
I think he would be half white, half latino. I don't know if italian is really considered latin but with the cuban and the italian mixed, that is the best thing I can come up with. He definitely is not just white! Usually when you have to mark something about race on a form there is an option for mixed race, if not I would go with latino because he certainly looks like it. Hope that made sense!
When someone asks you "What race is the baby" I would just say "human". But if you don't want to be rude, say 'mixed'. I think they technically would say the Italian and European parts are Caucasian, the Cuban part is Hispanic.
He's a member of the human race. (He's 1/4 latino, (because Grandma is Cuban) but unless you feel strongly about labeling him 'mixed race', he's white/caucasian/ European-American … pick your term.)
In the United States, the term Caucasian has been mainly used to describe a group commonly called White Americans, as defined by the government and Census Bureau.
Well, Italian, europe, Ireland, croatia are consider whiteCuban is Spanish You could just say white or otherOther means more than one race
hes mainly italian and cubani saw the pic before i even read the question and i thought "italian"lol
Italian is not Latino. It would be considered Caucasian when checking a race box.
He's only 1/8 spanish. I would just say white, or white and spanish mixed. It's not a big deal, he looks white.
I would just say he is italian american?
