What kind of makeup should I wear?
I have long, dirty/dark blonde hair that goes in natural, loose curls with side bangs. It usually looks kind of messy, but in a way that seems like I meant for it to be that way, and I don't want my makeup to seem too perfect and contrast with my hair, if that makes any sense. My skin is kind of pale, and I have light freckles across my nose and on my cheeks. My eyes are roundish and greenish grayish blue with a bit of brown around the pupils. The best way I can think of to describe my face shape is a mix between an oval and a heart. My lips are kind of full and roundish. I usually have really clear skin, but sometimes I get a few pimples on my forehead, but they're usually small and easy to cover up.
Oh, and I'm a fifteen year old girl, so I don't want to wear TOO much makeup.

Ok so, I think you should keep doing the same skin routine but you should play up your eyes more…..get the wet and wild pallete…it's cheap but it has SO many colors you can blend!!! look up how to do a subtle smokey-eye,tooHope I helped!!!
Well, despite having pale skin (etc.), there's definitely some different things you can do to brighten up your complexion in an effort to not look so 'plain'…while also staying away from drowning your face in makeup.Since you seem to have a more 'natural' beauty-type of look, I'd suggest sticking fairly close to your original formula of products and applications, avoid ever being heavy-handed (even in the event you decide to utilize color in your makeup routine.) If anything, I'd still leave the cheeks and lips no clothes/neutral, and just play up your eyes. It's a fun way to add some drama and dimension to your face, that's colorful and attention-getting, without (usually) being over the top. And, it's a great place to begin for those that aren't used to or are unfamiliar with applying a lot of makeup. For you specifically, try to go for an eye shadow that somewhat resembles (and matches) whatever color you happen to be wearing on your cheeks, basically, that they are in relatively the same color 'family'. For pale skin, rosy or deep pinks look best on the skin, so you could try a standard pink blush, and then go for either a pink, coral, rose, or even peachy colored eye. However, no matter which color you use…try to keep it soft so that it is appropriate for daytime (your age, and your skin, too…), by avoiding putting TOO much color on your lid. If you want more intensity than just from the wash of color alone, my secret is to also apply a powder liner or liner shadow (black) along the lash base and blend up..while also drawing a clearly, more clean line of eyeliner along the lash line with a pencil in a coordinating color to your eye shadow. Sometimes two 'coats' is needed, but when this is done..it's really all that is necessary to add something special to your eyes and really make then POP..again, without going over the top. I'd say, just continue to keep it reasonably simple, and just turn up the effect of your makeup in only one area at a time (eyes, again, is the best place to start.)Otherwise, you could also try an all-over-face-color or bronzer, since they all act as subtle complexion boosters. With your skin being so clear the majority of the time, these products would just add some life to your complexion to either make it appear dewy, natural, rosy, sun-kissed, etc. depending on the desired look, without covering up your own features and healthy skin. I use Bare Minerals by Bare Escentuals and they have some of the best (and most wide-range) of what they call 'all-over-face-colors' and 'radiances' that all serve this purpose. Plus, since they're an all-natural, mineral-based company, you'll never look overly done and made up, just nice and flawless with a certain glow. Their colors are also divided into categories where they are classified for certain skin tones, so it would be very easy for you to pick one that pairs well with pale skin…without the risk of looking ridiculous. If none of that appeals to you, there's also this great stuff that a consultant used on me once during a makeover at Sephora recently, called something…'Candlelight'. It was in a pressed powder-looking compact, and was an offwhite-light beige, iridescent looking product. She just took a large brush (the same she had used to apply my blush), and swiped it over the contours of my face (apples of my cheeks, temples, chin..) and it looked great! I couldn't tell exactly where it was on my face or what she had done, but I just know my skin looked noticeably brighter, softer, and illuminated. Very pretty…I didn't end up going with it, only because I have Bare Escentuals products at home that do the same thing, and it WAS a bit on the expensive side (I recall..) Still, she claims it works even better than the radiances by Bare Escentuals… so maybe stop in at one of their stores if you have one close by, or just go to their website online and see if you can find it. A good thing about their (Sephora's) website, is that almost all of their products sold also have tons of reviews by customers to accompany them and their item descriptions. Maybe reading some of these would help you decide if you might like it and be interested in buying…Good Luck to you…and hopefully you find the product(s) you'd like.. Source(s): Myself!
