What is the state of American racism?
My point of view, and for an unbiased opinion I'm not going to say what race I am:
Any time there exists groups of people with obvious differences, like skin color, language, or religion, prejudices will exist among small groups of each culture, and though it sometimes does, this does not necessarily represent society as a whole.
Blacks are no longer a serious target. Those who think they are, are greedy; how long should the son pay for the sins of the father, specifically whites?
Racism against Hispanics is wide spread. When will white America learn that by the numbers it's too late; that all immigrants supposedly "take American jobs," if they care to learn their own history; and that our languages over time will blend and evolve, like all languages have in the past?
What is a terrorist? Certainly it's not just any middle eastern man, but rather small groups of individuals with extreme points of view, not representative of the whole. What country do we live in that a mere sixty years later we forget our great leader who said, "There is nothing to fear but fear itself!"
Any race I left out, I have one of two things to say: Indians, or Native Americans, but I prefer Cherokee, Navajo or what have you, my heart goes out to you. How meaningless it is to try to make a peace offering in the name of those who have long since died. To all others, you must not have it so bad if you didn't make the list.
So, where do we all stand? For extra credit, guess my race and gender! Best answer will be chosen regardless of the extra credit, but it'll make the difference between 4 and 5 stars. Ha, like it matters.

Every area has it's unique biases. It's not as clear-cut as media sources would have you believe. Getting acclimated to new people and new environments takes time. I think the racism problem is continuing to improve…slowly but surely. I just hope that we can evolve from being 'color blind' to being comfortable with noticing our differences…and celebrating it. It used to make sense for us not to see obvious differences. But I feel that view is faulty for not acknowledging distictiveness. They say familiarity breeds contempt, but I say it breeds……familiarity! It takes time.
Definitely Texas, duh? Source(s): I live in Alaska btchs!
Massachusetts. Most racist place I have ever been. That's what state American Racism is in.
Alabama.aahh.. ****. you beat me
Unfortunately, racism as and always will exist so long as more than one person share an exact, or at lease similar opinions. As long as a group of people start coming together and voicing their opinions there will always be another group that oppose them. Like Plato once said, "ll things in the world participates in opposites"As for your race and gender, i would have to say your a Latino female Source(s): Opinionated
