   My girlfriend has had great success treating scars with a derma roller.

   It is basically a skin roller with tiny pins in it which tickle when you roll it over your skin. Scars are often due to a lack of collagen in the skin – which makes skin smooth, supple and tight – but a derma roller triggers your skin’s natural healing process to generate more collagen.

   It also helps your favourite creams penetrate the skin better. Without it, over 90% of your cream is left on the outside of your skin!

   Negative effects have never been reported, so it is very safe, and yet very effective at evening out your skin.
