If you get a £1,000 Nissan and get a comprehensive cover on it and you are a 17 year old kid living in a high risk area, (hackney in London) have no garage and have already claimed on your insurance, you might have to pay a yearly £5,000But if you are a 74 year old with a FULL NCB, live in some remote part of Yorkshire, do 2000 miles per year and are getting a third party ONLY type of cover with a 25 year old Nissan on a classic insurance, then I'd say about £65.00 per year should do it.I gave you the two extremes, you can work out an average from those if you want.Or if you know where you live/age/cover required then go here http://finance.ebookorama.com/ukusa-sele… and get a quote that'll be 100 % spot on.You can get more than one quote too, then you'll see that even if you are the same person, quotes from different insurers will vary immensely… it's all in the legwork and getting quotes is FREE, just like it is free to ask price for a bag of apples at the market. That depends on a number of factors, like your driving record, the value of the car, where you live, your age and marital status, the insurance company, your deductibles, and even your credit history. Source(s): For the US. It may be similar for the UK.
Call around to local car insurance companies and tell them you want a rate…they'll ask what kind of car and look up your driving record. Car Insurance depends on lotsa different things….Your driving record, the vehicle, your driving experience, your location. etc.
