What is in my pit bulls mouth?
I have a two year old pit bull who has been healthy in every way. He's had all his shots and is very well taken care of. However, my boyfriend just noticed he has some kind of ball of skin on the inside of his mouth with little pimples scattered around it. Anyone know what this may be? I have a good picture of it, but I don't know how to upload it on here. I can email it if you want to see it. Thanks.

Sounds like a papilloma though only your vet would be able to diagnose this.
need to see a picture of it, i have two pitbulls, a 4yr old going on 5yrs old, and a 10month old going on 11months
The best person to diagnose this and put your mind at ease is not a "5 year old volunteer veteranarian" but a REAL qualified vet. Please take the dog to vet. # Only a vet can treat this if it even requires treatment.ADDED: Chel, if you are only 11 you are too young to be on Y!A
sounds a little like warts… "the papilloma virus", though I may be wrong… I haven't seen your dog's mouth.have the vet check it outAdded: leave the kid alone, I agree you shouldn't take advice to heart from a kid you don't know, but some kids have some incredible knowledge even compared to some s– some learn at an incredible rate and have some good experience behind them even at such young ages… but what vet would take a kid in at age 5 i wonder?
Take the dog to the vet. Nothing good ever grows in a dog's mouth. Dogs can get oral cancer. Please take no notice of the 11yo "veterinarian" child lol. She would know, if she's ever been within a bulls roar of a veterinary surgery, that veterinarians do many years of study and prac to gain their degree and NO vet would allow a 5 year old child (or an 11yo child) to assume any part of their business. There is also the occupational health and safety issue of having young children around surgical equipment.
Hmmm I work in a pe hospital an I've never seen that. But it could be a mass. You should definitly take your dog in to get seen though by a vet. They should be able to help for sure. Bu don't wait till it gets worse!
