   I think they just add a fee. They don't discontinue your insurance unless you don't pay for a few months.

   Your insurance will still be valid providing your insurer hasn't informed you otherwise, you will probably be better just getting in touch with your insurer and telling them you can't pay until the 21st they will probably be fine with it.
