Undecided Question
What foods should I eat or avoid if I have eczema?
Are there any specific foods that could make eczema worse?
I know it is different for everyone, but are there certain foods that could help reduce the conditions and symptoms of eczema, such as itching and dryness; and are there foods that could cause those symptoms to get worse?
Please help me. & thanks for any additional tips on caring for eczema skin.
I am really desperate here & I feel for those that suffer with me.
Thank you for your answers.

Consuming the right food is vital for your health. You can try supplementing your diet with acai berry, it is not solely a widely tested and acknowledged weight loss produce, it is a superfood too. The best thing to do is to focus on treating the underlying cause of the eczema and minimize the flare ups by:- bathing using warm, not hot, water and a very mid soap- using a cream or petroleum jelly based moisturizer on wet skin after bathing or washing hands.- moisturize throughout the day as the need arises. Avoid using lotions as they tend to dry out the skin- pat excess water from skin after moisturizing as rubbing irritates the skin- wear cotton clothing- avoid the use of detergents, fabric softeners and dryer sheets with perfumes and/or dyesThere's a really great article on this website about how one woman with severe eczema was finally able to beat it: http://www.beateczema0o0com/?hop=4safetyno… Source(s): One woman's struggle to beat eczemahttp://www.beateczema0o0com/?hop=4safetyno…

The main cause of eczema is overreaction of the immune system. Identifying certain foods, chemicals, etc can be very helpful in battling this disease. I try to avoid soy and milk products which trigger my flare-ups.After using number of prescription drugs I've turned to the natural treatments. Now I use serenaskin herbal remedies , which aim at the root of the disease – the immune system, and are steroid-free. After about 2 weeks of using ointment and spray my skin has been cleared up and now I just continue with eczema extract, which controls the immune system. My skin has been clear for months now.It is the only treatment I have found that provides me complete relief when I use it as directed.
Basically anything good will trigger eczema. Dairy, nuts, chocolate, beer, wheat and the list goes on.Water mellon is said to be a good food to help with eczema. Instead of writing all this out check out my link, it talks about eczema, foods and natural treatment for the itch and there are more links at the bottom that talk about eczema triggers.http://hubpages0o0com/_SkinHelp/hub/Ill-ha…
