   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters You can do nothing, you are not law enforcement, or an officer of the court/ The police lay charges, the courts pumish. If he blew under the limit, he is not guilty of driving while drunk. If he has no insurance, obviously you claim on your insurance, and they repair your car, or pay you if it is totalled.

   The consequences of him driving without insurance are his problem not yours. He will resent it if you try to do anything direct about it.However, for your own protection, you have to refuse to ride with him again until he can show the car is insured.

   Nothing now, there is no proof at this point that he was drinking.In regards to your vehicle repairs, you need to go through your own insurance and let them handle it. Let them do the leg work to go after him, that's why you pay a premium. Source(s): Claims Adjuster 16 yrs

   He can lose his license and go to jail. When the other person he hits advises the court he was uninsured, they will put out a warrant for his arrest.

   allstate has done wonders for me. i wqas paying 357 a month with progressive on my 05 civic. allstate is 160 same coverage.
