Best Answer – Chosen by Voters GEICO
State Farm is a total rip off…I would try Progressive, General or Geico in that order.
I have Farmers. I lucked out and got an awesome agent. I also had a really good score on my driving & credit history. Their reates were far less than all other companies in my area.
Each company figures out the rates differently. It's based in past experience and a lot of other factors. Statefarm may give John a better rate, because they realize he is in small town and less likely to be in accident. Whereas Jane may get better rate because she only uses car to drive to grocery store. Insurance companies don't share their figures and factors with other companies, so all companies have make their own best guesses on who gets the lowest rate. It's best to just shop around and find out yourself who has the lowest rate for You. When you are calling the companies just make sure you are getting a quote with exact same coverage.ProgressiveAllStateGeicoStateFarmThe GeneralUnitrin DirectMercury Insurance Source(s): http://www.freeinsuranceresource.com
AIG is better and affordable since you are in CA.
don't know insurance companies in cali but try geico
I have general and its dirt cheap! Esurance is cheap to I would get quotes from those two. Also,, if you go to insurance.com i believe you can get quotes from several other companies Source(s): Personal experience… I have a horrible driving record my insurance is about as high as you can go
State Farm because i use it and its a trusted company.
if the car is salvage only don,t insure it is junk ,,not drivable ,,if your just parking it for a while to put back on the road at a later date just put comprehensivesome insurance company's don,t insure older cars,,just go with ever has the cheapest rate,,call around.
You can check this on the net, most good insurance companies are state controlled
State Farm has always had a good deal with me, and I am under 25 male. I pay good rates.

Liability only should be pretty inexpensive for you. You may want to try getting a quote online. I am paying less than ? of what I was before I did. Auto Quotes: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Ref…Take care,Casey
