Undecided Question

A few weeks ago I bleached my hair and dyed it purple. The purple started fading very oddly so about a week ago I bleached it again twice in a row to get it out and then dyed it a natural red. The purple I used was Manic Panic and the bleach and red dye were Herbal Essence. The day after the last coloring I got 4-5 sores on my scalp which are clearing up, but within a couple of days one of them was forming a lump underneath it which is still there. Last night another lump appeared where there is no sore and it seems a little bigger this morning. It seems to be deep under my skin and is a little smaller than a marble and very painful. I called a beauty shop and she said it could be an infection of my scalp. What do you guys think?
