   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters What i did to solve this problem for me was:-exfoliate 2 times a week (St. Ives apricot scrub). i do this in the shower as it saves me time in my routine.-wash face with cleanser every night (Clean & clear …. morning burst? it's a purple bottle and it foams This usually does me pretty well. the exfoliation is nice as it scrubs off dead skin cells. and after exfoliating, use the cleanser.if you have a nice moisturizer, that's great too. use that but not too much it would be best if you refrained from clogging your pores with makeup!also, when washing, (this is another reason why i wash my face in the shower), before using the wash, open your pores with heat (steam, water). wash thoroughly and when you're done, rinse with cool water (or use an icecube). the coolness will close your pores and help prevent clogging.
