I was interested to see how many asian women see beauty in different ways to that of european women, i.e fair skin is better and dark is ugly – apparently. Do any of you sisters use lightening cream to make your skin fair, or do you know anyone that does?

What do you think about it and why do you think they do it? What can possibly be the benefits of having fair skin? In my personal experience my own family is obsessed with having a tan and I am ridiculed and teased for having fair skin, them calling me pasty, I need to get colour etc. It makes me pretty damn angry, and it would be interesting to see it from the other side
