Right okay. Long story cut short, for about a year I had a very strange skin infection that was diagnosed as impetigo. It quite obviously wasn't because none of the treatments worked and I had it for about a year. I had to sit it out, and wait for it to run its course. Luckily, that year I was single and wasn't in a rush for a girlfriend. It went away in like November, and I happened to get lucky, and we've been together to the day. It's a long distance relationship and of course Valentines is coming up so I was going to see her. Last week I had cuts in the corner of my mouth, which I've had a few times before I think its called angular cheilitis. they've gone now BUT my god I've now got very dry, red cracked skin in the entire area my "impetigo" was and I just don't know what to do. The relationship is already going through a rough patch because of the distance, but I can't let her see me like this even though she says she doesn't care. I need to know if it's contagious and I need to find a way to cure it, just for a week This is really depressing me and I have no faith in the doctors. I really need a quick fix until next Friday
