Skin ID or Proactive skin care?
I want to purchase a new Acne cleanser. My acne is starting to get bad, and I need to find an acne system that is good. Any suggestions are welcome. Please share personal stories, or friends. I just need to find a good one. Thanks

I know people who tried pro active and didn't really like it. It also bleaches your pillow case and your towels. If its doing that just imagine the damage it's doing to your skin cells. It may get rid of a little bit of acne in the long run but your overall skin is going to look dull, dry and patchy. I would look into the skin ID or something gentle but effective
Neither both products have Benzol peroxide in them … this ingredient is no good for your skin with constant use it strips the skin leading eventually to prematurely aged skin and in the short terms causes dryness and skin reactions products that are natural are much better… products lines like Dermalogica, Grown, Priori and Pelactive Source(s): I'm a paramedical Skin Therapist with over 5 yrs experience
I have been using proactiv for about a month. The first week it was starting to clear up really well. As I used t more and more it go slightly worse. I have read that its suppose to draw out all bacteria so it will get worse before it gets better. I also have read that it will really dry out your skin, I have only experienced some dry patches.Good Luck!! Source(s): Me
this is what i use: 1. i clean my face with soap (dove)2. then i splash aloe vera on my facein the mornings i take cod liver oli. it works like a charm. Proactive made it worsthaven't used Skin ID.
NEITHER! they both suck. those products dont work, dont waste your money. use natural things like aloe vera Source(s): tried 154445645648798 products, they never worked
I have a friend that has acne sorta bad. He tried Proactive and he says it's the best over the counter treatment he has tried.
