Hi!!In cold weather I suffer from really dry flakey skin on my face if I don't look after it, and I used to share a room with a girl who had such dry skin on her face it would get really sore and red and scabby. BUT NEVER FEAR!! There are remedies out there!! Make sure your not using harsh cleansers for a start, and keep your diet healthy and drink plenty of water and stuff thats good for your skin and hair (eggs, milk, etc, you might have to do some extra research on that one, and it won't cure it at once, but every little helps!!) Me and my friend both used aqueous cream, really cheap and available at pharmacies if you ask behind the desk; I use it every day and after I've washed my face and by a week I see a difference. If not, go to your doctor, you can get mega creams which warn you about not putting too much on cos theyre so powerful, or maybe he can offer some proffesionnal advice or put you on the pill specially for your skin.In the meantime, lets hope the weather cheers up and gives your face a chance
i highly recommend SIMPLE Kind to SKin Vitamin Night cream. firstly it uses no harsh chemicals (ll natural) and secondly it made my face very very creamy the next day. since i have combination skin it was a bit too greasy for my taste but im sure its amazing for dry skin.
If your skin is very dry then you may have to to go to the dermatologist. My sister had this and she used aveeno cream ( available in uk) or just get some natural remedies. Here are some recipes for dry skin masks. Very easy to make.On this link.http://www.greathomeremedies0o0com/dryskin…
For dry skin:Avocado, which contains vitamin E, as well as other natural oils, is a great moisturizer for dry skin.Place a ripe avocado, peeled and seeded, in a blender or food processor with four tablespoons of plain yogurt. Blend until smooth. Apply the mixture to your face, avoiding the eye area. Leave on for ten to fifteen minutes, and then rinse your face with warm water. The yogurt will not only hydrate and soften your dry skin, it will also exfoliate your skin, removing dead skin cells.Peel one banana. Place half of it in a bowl. (You can eat the other half.) Mash the banana with a fork. Add four tablespoons of plain yogurt to the banana, and stir the mixture until smooth. Apply to your face and leave on for ten to fifteen, then rinse off with warm water. While honey is a natural astringent, it will also moisturize your dry skin.Separate the yolk from one egg. (You can use the rest for a light, egg white omelet.) Mix the egg yolk with 1 tablespoon of honey, and stir the mixture until smooth. Leave on for ten to fifteen minutes, then rinse off with warm water.do these about once every week. dont expect results immediately u have to wait a couple weeks.
You can try this and see if it helps. Yogurt-honey combination helps dry skin or else make an egg face pack with a yolk, a teaspoon of honey, a tablespoon of milk powder. Apply on the dry areas and wash after an hour. This is beneficial to dry skin types. There are many helpful tips to cure dry skin at http://usefulinfo-dry.blogspot0o0com/
I also suffer from very dry skin. I use Simple Rich Moisturiser, which is colour and fragrance free, so perfect for sensitive skin. Marks and Spencer also do a similar cream with no fragrance or colour in their "Formular" range. When my skin gets bad I usually just slop loads of the stuff on, even if it can't all sink in at frst. Drinking lots of water can help and also make sure your environment isn't too dry – central heating is the worst thing for dry skin. If you've got the heating on then you could consider buying a humidifier (or ask your parents to buy you one!) That will help to add more moisture to the air and stop your skin from drying out. Failing that, other options are to have a plant or bowl of water somewhere in the room, or at least a damp towell on the radiator.
