Recommendation for foundation, primer and powder for a 17 yr old teenager ?
I'm 17 year old Chinese girl and I have a fairly white skin. My face is oily type and pimples grow during my period. Please recommend me some good beauty products for my face.. Thank you
I was thinking of either Bobby brown or Mac maybe?

I don't recommend any foundation, primer, or powder. They will ruin your skin before you're 20. Get a nice tinted moisturizer that is healthy for your skin as well as give you nice coverage.Smashbox tinted moisturizer, Benefit, Arbonne, Laura Mercier, and Heidi Klum have great ones. For a light sun-kissed natural-looking bronzer that has no shimmer, not metallic-looking, or orange, I recommend Hoola by Benefit.A great blush that looks very natural is "Cheerful" by Bare Minerals.Try BADgal Lash mascara by Benefit as well. It's truly non-clumping, very light, and makes your lashes look much longer. You can check these products out on http://www.sephora0o0com and see their ratings and reviews. Good luck!
If you want to break out, sure go for those! Also, the ingredients in their makeup (both under the estee lauder family of products) are not good for your skin. At all.I'd highly recommend Bare Minerals. I'm part chinese, combination skin with acne around my period as well. I used to have minor acne and blemishes and bare minerals cleared that completely. My skin is so well behaved and healthy now that I only really wear foundation around my period! The Bare Escentuals boutiques are currently giving away free samples of their matte foundation and their original foundation along wiht a free baby kabuki brush. At sephora you can always have them make you a sample as well. For you since you have oily skin you might try matte first. Personally I use the original and I use the Rare Minerals cleanser and moisturizer. The cleanser has the same active soil in it that the matte foundation has. The moisturizer is really lightweight, fast absorbing and INTENSIVE! I say that because this winter has been especially harsh on my skin and I started to have flakey skin and rough, dry patches. Then I bought this moisturizer and the first time I put it on, instant cure. My face looks healthy again! The face wash takes a little getting used to since it's not your ordinary wash. It's in powder form and you pour some (it has a cool top that controls it easily) onto your hand and then what I do (instructions say to pour onto a wet hand) is then wet my face with my other hand and then wet that hand again and then work the face wash til it becomes the milky thing it's supposed to. The more powder/less water you use, the more exfoliating you will get. So you get to be in control. If you decide to stick with mac or bobbi brown, at least invest in some good for your skin face wash and moisturizer. And be sure to remove your makeup every night! I use Sephora brand eye makeup remover or Clinique eye makeup remover. The rareminerals wash is enough for me to remove my brae minerals makeup but if you use a liquid foundation or apply a lot then it might not do the trick.
MAC is fabulous, but too much of it can wear out your skin. so maybe a mineral based product would suit you the best, turn to MAC or MaryKay. MaryKay is a little on the non-expensive rout. and MAC is more pricey. both great products and companies but make sure you are applying it correctly. Since you have oily skin after a while you may begin to sweat the powder or foundation off, make your face appear more greasy and a tint of orange. also, avoid drug store brands:)
Either one of those brands are fantastic. There is also Laura Mercier, which is my personal and professional favourite.Laura Mercier do a fantastic oil free primer, along with the best oil free foundation I have ever worked with, and she does a beautiful tinted moisturiser if you prefer something really light weight.
im very pale as well ad my fav is dinair airbrush makeup. foundations always looked orange on me but i use a shade called alabaster by them that works really well..i love their stuff…it covers everything and makes my skin look flawless…its also all water based so its not bad for my skin. ive been using their stuff for the past 2 years and i LOVE it…they also have this stuff u can put on under ur makeup that absorbs and gets rid of oil as its produced.
any mineral products. sheer cover, bare minerals, they dont clog pores and absorb oil…great products for oily skin!! get on line and watch the infomercial on u tube ….its great makeup u will never go back to liquid and it looks natural…liquid can run…minerials dont ur not always checking ur make up cuz u know it looks good!
