Random question: who is doing an all out-beauty thing for your wedding?
I want to do an all-out beauty thing for the wedding. I want to get the dry skin removed from my feet, my legs, eyebrows, and upper lip waxed (maybe my underarms too) and definitely have my natural nails done instead of getting tips put on them like normal. So, who all is doing something to make them look/feel/act more beautiful? What are you having done?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters If you have never waxed before, DEFINITELY do a trial run a month or so before the wedding at the very least.Lots of women have a reaction to the wax (either the ingredients or the heat) AND a lousy waxer can burn you if they aren't being careful. So test the waters before the wedding day and give yourself plenty of recovery time. If you don't have a bad reaction, you can feel pretty safe going again a couple days before.First time bikini wax. Two days before a beach trip. Worst mistake of my life!
I already got a facial and my eyebrows waxed. I am getting my hair dyed and highlighted, my legs and a brazilian wax, a pedicure, manicure, and I am having my hair and makeup done for the wedding. I would not get your underarms waxed because you will have to grow it out and it will look really bad for a long time before you can get it waxed.
Many brides have this and go all out facials, etc. but, I love to answer wedding questions and one bride had her upper lip done and it broke out with a red rash, unless you have had this done before, would not do and underarms also. Would have the other things you say, but be careful of anything you put on your face so as to not have a breakout on your face. A mild astringent and some cool cucumber slices on your eyes or a chilled eye mask would be o. k. I guess I have heard so many different stories on here till I am gunshy. Don't change make up,etc.
I plan to. However most online resources encourage you to do this between one week and one month before your wedding, to avoid any redness, rashes or reactions. If you don't normally do this stuff, I say go a few times leading up to the wedding, so you'll know how your skin will react, and so will the esthetician. Also, when it comes to waxing, the hair comes back a bit lighter after the first time, so it will have a cumulative benefit. Same with facials, etc. You'll benefit from the additional treatments AND you won't get a nasty surprise right before the wedding.Be sure to budget because these things aren't cheap
but you might be able to get decent deals at a school that teaches these techniques, if money is tight. The big thing I'm waiting for is a nice massage right before the wedding to de-stress
Good luck and enjoy!
I have always been a tomboy, but there is something about being a bride that makes you want to feel beautiful on your wedding day
To feel good, I want to have a facial, waxing, hair and make-up, and my nails done. To feel beautiful, all I have to do is look at my mister. How he looks at me lets me know just how beautiful he thinks I am.
