Quick question for girls who wear a lot of makeup…?
Ok for girls who wear lots of makeup (example: liquid foundation, concealer/ cover up, powder, blush, fill in eyebrows and eye make up), What do you use to take care of your skin? What face wash/ exfoliater do you use? do you have lots of break outs? What brand of make up do you wear?
I wear MAC mineral make up and concealer. Sometimes I use a little liquid foundation (I know MAC is hard on the skin) but I'm having trouble finding a good face wash and scrub. I tend to break out.
What do you suggest for deep cleaning my face?

MAC makes heavy foundation and products. Unfortunately a downside to their coverage is that its SO thick that just washing with a plain cleanser just isnt enough… What you really need is an oil based make up remover for your face. I use Shu Uemura Cleansing Oil. These have been around since the 1960's when make up was outrageously heavy. A common misconception of oil is that using it will clog your pores. Which is incorrect. Oil actually helps to break down your natural oils and remove dirt and residue from your face and pores. When rinsing with water the oil flushes right out, not over drying your skin or feeling excessively oily. There have been many editorials about it in Allure, Bazar, and Elle that swear by this. I love it :] and I never break out. you put it on while your skin is still dry and it breaks up even the most stubborn and waterproof make up. It is pricey and if you are still skeptical I suggest you try a sample first, which im pretty sure they have at neiman marcus or can make you one any place they sell shu uemura products. If you are looking for a cheaper alternative I would suggest you do a cold cream first such as Cetaphil. Cetaphil is dermatologist recommended and sold at most drugstores for a reasonable price. If you still would like an extra clean you can try the neutrogena cleansers [ie; grapefruit and I even use the deep cleaning lavender one, once in a while.]. I use waterproof eyeliner and it comes off no tugging with the Shu oil cleanser. I spent 65 dollars on mine [450ml] and it has lasted me well over a year. One pump is good for me.For an exfoliator depending on what kind and how much scrub you want I like the St. Ives apricot with salicylic… Salicylic will help to clean out your pores. St. Ives is a bit abrasive, which I personally like, but I know they sell a gentle one too. But is a reasonable price and works just as well.hope this helps!**please keep in mind also that over use of salicylic while good for break outs can DRY out your skin. Make sure you are using a moisturizer when using salicylic or glycolic products. Source(s): make up artist for 5+ years.
I use bare minerals foundation and boi-ing concealer from benefit when I need it. I don't fill my eyebrows…but i do wear eye makeup
I do not have breakouts unless I use my mac MSF
but i love it so much lol. -_- figures. Currently as my face wash I use Rare Minerals face wash and it's aMAZING but it's really different from traditional cleansers. Before that I used Bliss Fabulous Foaming Face Wash. To exfoliate I use Korres Pomegranate face scrub which is something I look forward to every couple of days because it feels so nice and smells so delicious. I really recommend it. I don't think rare minerals face wash is what youre going for. It's really gentle and won't remove liquid makeup well but should be able to handle mineral since it takes mine off lol. It does make your skin look better though after.
When I'm taking off my makeup I use general brands. At the moment I am currently using CVS exfoliating cleansing towelettes (deep cleans). They are great for getting everything off your face. I usually cut them in half because it's more than enough to take everything off. In addition I use CVS eye makeup remover. I never have any breakouts with these products. And from time to time when I do have breakouts, I use Proactive. I swear by that stuff! lol. the starter pack is enough, no need for extras, unless of course you think it's necessary. Anyway, I hope that was helpful, plus they are inexpensive! =] It's always great to save some cash!
i use dove face cleaner morning and night and differin for my acne . thats it!

I use LUSH products for my face wash/exfoliaters and its awesome. Or St. Ives. I use All sorts of brands for make-up.
TELL ME IM PRETTY (AS I PUT LIPSTICK ON MY LIPS, AROUND MY LIPS INTO MY FACE AND ALL OVER THE PLACE) Just use regular soap and water.
cetaphil face wash.
Use neutrogena, it's good for skin
Neutrogena products are expensive, but they're wonderful for your skin and so worth it. Get a face wash by Neutrogena, and use it every morning and night. You should also exfoliate gently two or three times a week. (Maybe once a week if you have really sensitive skin, but you probably don't– people with really sensitive skin can't wear much make up without breaking out majorly.)Always wash off your make up before you go to sleep. Sleeping in it can make your skin itchy and red, and clog your pores which causes pimples. Also, don't wear make up while you're working out or doing any other activity where you sweat. This will also clog your pores. Hope this helps.
