Undecided Question

People think im a Chonga,,,?

Well all these girls (even my friends) think im a chonga. I dont care if my friends call me it sometimes but when they go into it like yesterday i bought medium sized hoop earrings and my friend Shamare was like "Uh Karla, no, take off those earring, you look like a chuunga." (tats how she says chonga) Im dominican (tan not dark skinned or white neither) I look very soanish so i guess thats also what adds to the chonga factor. Well what i want to know is, how can i make this stop bothering me. People think im a chonga but i no im not, i just dont wanna care anymore.
