My freinds gonna pierce my lip at school on tuesday?
ok so i know i need to bring alcohol and stuff to wipe on the skin before she pierces it but what about after she pierces it? what do i have to put on it to keep it from getting infected? i know i should get this done professionaly but mom wont let me so…yeah i've decided to let my friend do it. today i watched as she pierced a boys lip today in the girls bathroom stall. so after she pierces mine what kind of cleanser do i need to buy for it? tell me what i can do to take care of it and keep it clean. btw shes doing this with a push pin.

You don't use alcohol for piercings….and that push pin is going to be dirty and not big enough for proper jewelry. How do you expect to get away with this? If your mom won't let you then what do you think is going to happen when you walk through the door of your house with a big, swollen, red lip that's been pierced? Use your brain, kid.
Okaya push pin?thats not even big enough for lip ringso that would be painful for no reasonyou'd need like a 16' gauge needledon't do it!seriouslyit will get infected i can almost guarantee it
This is a very, very, very dangerous idea! The chance of infection is high. Human mouths are full of germs and bacteria, and it is impossible to kill all the nasty bugs floating around in a human mouth, particularly as more are constantly entering in the air and on food and other things that go into people's mouths.Furthermore, the pushpin is not a sanitary item. If she has used it before, there is the possibility of a blood-borne pathogen getting into your system. If there is foreign blood on the pushpin, you could get extremely sick. There is no way of knowing what things someone has been exposed to that you haven't, and that your system can't defend against. Also, if the piercing isn't in the right place, it can damage your teeth or gums.Your mother is right to say wait. Getting it done professionally minimizes the risk of an infection or blood-borne pathogen spread. Getting it done professionally also helps minimize the risk of the piercing being rejected by your body and causing nasty scarring. It is really worth it to wait until you can get it done professionally.
