Your dog is most likely okay. Many dogs get bumps on them. They are usually pimple like blemishes. If it seems too big to be a pimple, I am lost for the answer. You should take her to the vet for professional help if it is constantly worrying you.
My dog Jimmy had a bump like that too. The vet said it was an abscess (a collection of pus caused by bacteria) and he simply drained it out of him with a syringe and told me to wash it with soap and water. I wouldn't recommend you do this, the vet should, but your dog is probably ok. She probably just cut herself and the wound got swollen. Wash her with soap and water and rub some aloe on it. If she's in pain, then yup, vet time.
if she is an old dog like over age 10 or maybe at age 10 or younger some dogs will start to get large bumps on their sides any i have asked about them called them old bumps and they say that they aren't usually hurting them. but just to make sure i think you should most definitely see a veterinarian.
Well, it might be a tumor but I am not really sure. You might want to go see a vet if possible, or just see if it gets bigger and bigger. If it does then its most likely to be a tumor. Source(s): its all from my noggin
Get her to the vet. It could be an abscess, a cyst, a tumor (either benign or malignant) or something else entirely. Source(s): vet assistant
