More fail-poetry! how bad do my poems suck?
Love,
There is something beautiful about the way you touch me
Your fingertips trace melodies on my skin
Songs with lyrics in ancient tongues
To which it grows tiresome pretending to understand
How your moods change with the seasons
The moonlight scars etched by hateful nails
Bled out and scabbed and flaked away, but never healed
Pain hiding beneath bubblegum lipgloss smiles
You were a demon; you are my angel
Softly massaging stories into my head with those bittersweet hands
Those golden-flecked eyes that lit up your face
That sweet half-smile that lit up my heart
Whispering desperate poetry into eager ears
Verses that screamed agony and longing and loneliness
Embracing this lost soul as if it were your own
It is an art more fantastic than the most magnificent paintings
Love
the second is called, "Look Into my Eyes…":
Love,
I weep for you.
That simple beauty of soft bangs and snowy skin
Liquid lust in olive-gold irises, doused with chestnut and mahogany and bronze
The elegance of unsmiling lips and half closed eyes
A subtle loveliness playing behind darkened lids and shattered dreams
Broken hearts so beautiful, it hurts.
I wish you saw yourself as I do.
aaaand, the third is called, "If I Said 'Forever', it was a Lie":
Love:
Today, our eyes met for the last time
Liquid gold and chocolate melting over my heart as it broke
Shattered into five trillion pieces
Not one of which I can give to you.
Maybe this is just a figment of imagination
A desperate wish for fingers and thoughts to intertwine
To sink into lavender-scented sheets and get drunk on laughter
Forget about yesterday
Forget about tomorrow
Forget everything but the taste of your lips and sour skittles
The way you smell like rain and trees and blue skies
And the gentleness of your hand running through my hair
Your mouth warm against mine
Losing track of time and losing my mind
To the soft angel eyelashes fluttering against my cheek
Loose curls and loose tongues and a faraway smile
The warmth of your breath and velveteen voice
As it wraps up my no clothes soul and carries it away into nothing…
Into darkness
These tears that spill from closed eyes are for a demon
And though I run, you poison my mind
The more I hide, the more you break me
Treacherous evil, sweet beauty
Tempting me with sin?
No, again I am alone.
opinions? comments? critique? thanks :]

Wow, no. This is great material. Your words flow very nicely and beautifully. You have talent you are not fully aware of.Reading it again, you MUST be aware of your talent. It;s too good to be oblivious to it. Perhaps you are just being modest, ha.
