Yeah, I also use Clinique's 3-step system and it's so easy to find a face remedy specifically meantfor your face because they have it designed foreach person. Like Oily, Oily combination, Combination, DryCombination, and dry.If you have extremely oily skin, take the skin consultation quiz to find the products best for your face:http://www.clinique0o0com/It's kind of pricey depending on a budget, but it'sworth every penny. For the first week of use it was annoyingand it made my face irritated but after my face got used to thepattern my face "glowed" and the flow of blemishes were not often. For oily skin I recommend makeup that is oil free and is a matte powderfoundation. Mineral is always good too. I also really recommend Clinique'sstay-matte oil free powder foundation. I can't really tell whateye colors would be best for your face because I don't know the colorof your eyes but you can never go wrong with purples, greens, no clothess, pinks, and browns. For lips you can apply a peachy/rosy lipgloss or perhapsa no clothes lipstick. And then you can finish everything off with a dark peach blush.
for your oily skin, try cliniques 3 step system!they have 4 different types:1 for dry skin2 for dry combination skin (more dry than oily)3 for oily combination skin (more oily areas than dry)and 4 very oilybut they will test your skin first, it worked for my spotty and very shiny skin
hope this helps xx
Sounds like I have similar skin to yours. Here's what I do, and I hope you take my advice. It's taken me a while to figure out what works for my face and I'm going to share it with you.First off, was your face once to twice a day (at the most)-it really doesn't matter if you sleep with your makeup on. You should be able to. I like to wash in the mornings. Washing your face too much strips the good natural oils from your skin, causing it to produce unwanted excess oils.Try using the face wash called Noxzema Anti-Bacterial Lathering Cleanser (Triple Clean/Triclosan Medicated) It keeps bacteria that cause acne away and cleanses your face without leaving any residue afterward or leaving it overly dry. You get a nice, clean feel. It also takes off any makeup you have, including stubborn eye makeup.Do not use any products on your face such as toners, acne creams, alcohols, makeup remover wipes, etc. They all have harsh chemicals that irritate oily sensitive skin and cause you to produce more oils and even break out.Do not use a foundation. Foundations are oily, greasy, masky and gross. Stay away from them. Also stay away from powders. If you apply powder on your face or on top of your foundation, it takes the oil away for a couple hours, but it comes right back even more and you have to apply more powder on and it makes your face look cakey and matted. Now, for makeup. I recommend you get a nice tinted moisturizer. It gives just enough color/tint to even your skin tone and enough moisture to balance your natual oils. Even with the oiliest skin, we still have to moisturize it and keep it healthy. Smashbox Sheer Focus, Laura Mercier, and You Rebel by Benefit Cosmetics are the top three best I've ever used. In that order. (If you have acne) get a nice powder and take a q-tip and swab the powder lightly, and apply the powder only to the zit. Apply gently. This is only to reduct the redness and even out your tone a little more. This is not to put all around your face. I prefer to dab a little bit of powder on the zit as opposed to using a concealer stick because the powder makes the zit dry and sucks some of the oil out and goes away quicker.Anyway, use whatever kind of mascara you'd like, eye liner, etc..Blush- I recommend using "Cheerful" by Bare Minerals. It's not shimmery or metallic looking and it's very natural and beautiful for most skin tones. You should be fine to use it. And you can re-apply it later in the day to freshen up, and it never looks cakey or built up.For a little bronzing, I like Hoola by Benefit Cosmetics. It's another natural looking product that isn't shimmery, metallic, or orange looking at all. Apply lightly until you get the hang of it.Any of these products can be found online or at the sephora store. http://www.sephora0o0comMacy's sells Benefit Cosmetics as well.Another last tid bit. Go to your local drugstore or walmart and pick up some oil blotting papers. Keep them in your purse and every so often, blot your face with these papers. It sucks the oils right out of your face. You can see it right on the paper, it's great. Look them up if you aren't sure what I'm talking about. "Oil blotting papers" or ask the person at the drugstore.I really hope this helps you.
