Is this a good skin care routine?
I am 18 and have VERY dry, VERY sensitive skin esp. on my face which gets easily irritated and tight when I wash my face. I have been looking for a new face skin care regimen to help me with this problem I have alot of dead skin on my face and I can tell because its dull, when I frown I get little fine lines on my forward(which I believe is caused by dry skin cause i got a facial at a spa once and it disappeared), my face is ashy, and a bit flaky. I want to have bright, smooth, soft, healthy looking and feeling skin. I have been looking into a few products and I was wondering if getting these would help. I am on a budget and can't afford any high end products as of yet to keep up with.
I wanted to get St. Ives facial warming scrub or other St. Ives face scrub, Cetephil facial cleanser, neutragene face toner and cetaphil moisturizing face lotion. Is this a good skin care regimen? If not, what is good or bad in this regimin? I will be using them in that exact order. I have used cetaphil before years in the past as a sample and that thing did wonders for my face. So I'm giving it an official try.

I looked on google for u and found some reviews on St. Ives facial warming scrub u might like to read….http://www.makeupalley0o0com/product/showr…and Cetaphil facial cleanser…..http://www.acne.org/cetaphil-daily-facia…and neutragene face toner click on rreviews…http://www.drugstore0o0com/qxp16995_333181…and cetaphil moisturizing face lotion…..http://www.drugstore0o0com/qxp16995_333181…If that doesnt work u could try face packs (Montagne Jeunesse) twice a week they r good and leave ur face feeling smooth and soft only takes between 5-15 mins depends which one u get and only about 99p from boots or superdrug. Cetaphil is awesome for sensitive skin.If your skin is irritated after you wash it your cleanser is definantly not right 4 your skin.I say go 4 it with the Cetaphil & stick with what you know works because trying new things is always risky when you have sensitive skin.I have found this out the hard way.
i used to have bad skin too and im only 13..but anway, try 360 clean by loreal! it works great i jsut started using it 3 days ago!! its only 8$ too! also to keep ur skin soft and smooth, in the morning and at night, put a light layer of lotion on ur skin
hope this helps!
This may be a stupid suggestion because if your skin is really that dry then you probably already use it but… just get a really good moisturiser or just any. I've used many different moisturisers and every single one has worked, maybe I've just been lucky with what I've brought but that's all there is to it. <extra note: I use proactiv, as well as another cleanser 1-2 times a week on top of it and it really dries your skin out, and I mean to the extreme (if you use nothing your skin flakes around the sides of your mouth and cheeks) so it's definitely the moisturiser working and not my skin.About the dead skin that's on your face, just moisturising mourning and night and as well as after wetting your face it should go away after a while but to get rid of it quicker try using circular exfoliating sponges (i think that's what they're called). the ones i have just look like a small round version of the thin ones you'd find in your kitchen lol. You simply wet your face and wet the sponge and rub in circular motions around your face goin upward, as to get into your poures. Also a cleanser would help and i recommend using one if you want your skin at it's best. I can't really recommend any store brought ones since the only two I use are proactiv and Natio (which is for men, and came with a shaving kit
) Since you said you want to save money though just keeping your face moisturised and showering each night should be fine.Tip: When you use your moisturiser apply it to a damp face, don't dry your face and then apply(unless the instructions say to of course). I've heard this works the best but sadly i can not confirm as due the steps involved proactiv my face will be dry when i get to the moisturiser stage, and wetting it will wash all the toner and repairing lotion off but for you i'm sure it's worth trying.
