   taste is personal…so is attraction, so go for it if it makes you happy. You will just have to let it be known that you are interested, and be a bit more agressive and ask someone out. that should start things rolling for you. If you are smart and pretty and confident… as you say you are, it will work out for you.

   Ok Why Cant You?? Just because your black doesn't mean you can only go with black men. It was never meant to be Mexican an Mexican, White and White, Rican and Rican, Black and Black, or anything like that. If that was the case none of us Mixed people would be here. Your still living by the 1940 theory. Things changed you connect with whoever you want, race doesn't play apart in love. It is what it is, if there's a connection that's all that matters.

   There is definitely a guy out there that goes up to your standards you just have to be patient and wait, until the you know you have the sparks for them. So continue on, you might run in to someone that has an interest in you and you have an interest in them. Good luck!

   If you are pretty and nice you will get guys. Don't settle for less but don't always look on the outward appearance either. Some guys may only dress and talk funny to fit in but are really nice inside. Be nice and friendly to all people and don't worry about it.

   White guys may be a little afraid to approach a black girl cause they feel the girl will only like black guys. So maybe you should try approaching them. And remember: race is only skin deep.

   Honestly, it depends on how YOU as a person are, and what those men are looking for. If none of your preference in men in that area are looking for a black female, then probably not. Me myself, I am a black female, currently engaged to a white male…didn't think I would be, but I am. You shouldn't really close yourself off to anyone simply based on race, you could end up falling in love with a black man, Asian guy, or heck, maybe even a white guy, but only time and fate will tell. You are only 17 (listen to me,, I'm 18 telling you you're ONLY…) you've got plenty of time to browse the fish in the sea. Don't close yourself off, or you might miss out on something.This relationship I'm in, it's for me. You might realize that white men aren't for you.    If you are naturally attracted to white guys, then you will probably not be satisfied with guys of other racial backgrounds. Knowing that you have this preference, I think that you should determine what characteristics and qualities you hope to find in your Romeo, then find someone you think may have similar qualities and characteristics and find a way to make a connection. A friendship is a good way to determine if the guy genuinely has what you are looking for first. You also want to feel out what he seems to be attracted to, if it is just blondes, you may need to look elsewhere. My neighbor is a Native Alaskin Eskimo, and her husband is white with blonde hair and blue eyes, he always says that he is only attracted to 'exotic' women and that if he had it his way, he would be married to a black woman, but he is happy with is carmel colored wife.My husband is Egyptian and looks like Wilmer's twin (Yo Mamma). I am only attracted to people who have dark hair and a medium skin tone, I can't help it either! It just is what it is… And you had better count on meeting the man of your dreams someday…. he is white and has everything you ever hoped for in a man and he will take one look at you and know that you were exactly what he was waiting his whole life for!!!!!
