   You should be proud of how your mother looks and feel lucky that you have those genes. It happens to me and my daughter a lot but we find it funny. I would never try to act her age or anything, but we think the guys are kind of brainless (no offense guys) when it comes to this and laugh about it. If you are less confident, look in the mirror and see the beauty that you have, I'll bet it's equal to or surpasses your mom's. It's hard for you to see, I know, but it's there…Just ask your mom.

   Don't worry. Keep eating healthy fresh foods, doing daily exercise of some kind, educating yourself, and not ironing your hair too much and you'll get there in your own time in a few years.

   Hey Jess, step back, take a deep breath & look at yourself in the mirror…. long & hard. I'm sure you will find a lovely young lady who is maybe a little insecure on the inside but beautiful on the outside ( and that's ok,) Your mom I am sure is stunning as you say…. but you know what… your mom is your mom, even if she is beautiful, be proud of her. I am sure she loves you so much.You might not think you are beautiful now but you are still young & will grow into your own right. With a pretty mom like you have, I can assure you, you will be breaking many hearts pretty soon. Be confident with who you are and always stay true to yourself. Take of yourself

    haha it's weird but i use to be jelous of my mother too. not really jelous but, more like i wanted to be like her. my mom has these incredible stories when she was my age telling me that all the boys in school wanted to ask her out and told her she was the most smartest beautiful girl there. she is definetly not lying since my mom is now 47 and she's still amazingly beautiful. i see men look at her without her realizing it. my mom is very kind and wouldn't dare let that get to her. the only reason i felt a swift of jelousy was just that i've never felt pretty before. although alot of people tell me i look like my mom. i don't really see it. i have alot of my dad in me. i have this lazy tired look in my eyes, super pale it's abnormal, and i'm shy around people. my mom has wonderful light reddish hair and almost looks like audrey hepburn.
