If you have already had melanoma…?
I haven't gotten melanoma or even been worried about it. But I have freckles and I go tanning quite a bit. Does that give me a bigger risk to get it (the freckles part). No one in my family history has had cancer in the last 4 generations.
But if you get skin cancer and cure it. Can you still go tanning? I know it wouldn't be reccomended but could you still go?
And please don't tell me tanning is stupid and I should stop, I don't care. I love itttt!

Freckles, fair skin, burn easily are all genetic risk factors for Melanoma but one of the biggest risk is tanning beds. Regular use of Tanning beds more than doubles your risk over average. So why are you worried about freckles when your own behavior is putting you at risk.Getting tans after you are diagnosed with skin cancer is like continuing to smoke after treating lung cancer. Such behavior is just killing you more quicker than others but you enjoy it. Source(s): http://www.cancer.gov/newscenter/tip-she…
well why ask a question if you don't want the answer your stupid your freckled your at a higher risk pool CANCER does not discriminate especially skin cancer.from .. SUN and tanning puts you at a higher risk but you don't care so i just shared.. Source(s): http://www.everydayhealth0o0com/skin-beaut…
Could you go tanning after you get skin cancer? Yes. But will you most likely battle with it again very shortly? Definitely. Should you go tanning after you cure skin cancer? No, and you're not too bright if you do.
Sure you can still go tanning if you get melanoma! But don't be a bit surprised when you get it again.I am 27 years old, I've just survived cancer and now I am at increased risk for developing any other type of cancer as a result of the radiation therapy I went through. I use to go tanning in high school until I looked Jamaican…I am white. I really regret my choice to go tanning when I was younger because it may cause cancer now that I am a little older. And trust me at 27 years old I am still a hottie, I have lots of life left in me, I don't want to die. I wish I didn't go tanning ever in my past. I never will again, ever.I have freckles and olive skin, the freckles part means that you have skin damage, thats the only way to get freckles. You are not born with them, its from sun exposure. That means that you are at increased risk due to the damage, not the freckles directly.PS I noticed your name "barbie doll"…I thought it was funny because with your attitude you're going to be one wrinkled up barbie doll in need of major cosmetic surgery like that one old lady trying to be a barbie doll who was on Oprah…she looked terrible!
