I have dry red skin on my cheeks and oily chin?
It is winter now and i have to walk to my classes in the cold wind…im using a scarf now of shield my cheeks but the skin on them is still dry from the weather and the wind, and there are red patches on it that are not very pretty. The red patches are not dryer than the other areas on my face. I havnt been wearing makeup to cover up the red because a) it looks bad because due to the flakeyness of the skin and b) the skin around my chin seems more prone to breakouts now (I am thinking that it might have something to do with sweating inside of my scarf all the time). Just wondering if anybody can relate to this and knows a solution for the redness and how to keep my cheeks smooth and nice, and if anybody knows how to deal with the breakouts ive been have on my chin. The only skin care routine i use is a cleansing face wash everynight before i go to bed, and an astringent for sensivie skin that i use around my chin at night or during the day when it feels greasy. I'll take any tips on a better routine and hopefully specific products to use. Thanks!

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters There are special creams created to protect the skin from the winter weather, just try to find one for your skin type. Also it's recommended not to use moisturizing creams before you go outside. Also try to use nourishing cream sometimes, it's good in the winter, but make sure your skin "likes" it
Talking about skin care routine, i'd advice you to clean your skin with gentle milk cleancer for your skin type and use moisturizing/nourishing/protactive cream afterwards. Also try to use a gentle exfoliator 1-2 times a week, but don't use it wher your skin is irritated. Some vitamin and moisturizing masks are also good in the winter Source(s): http://skinpeel4u0o0com
? Avoid harsh cleansers and alkaline cleansers – they may change the pH of your skin leading to rebound oiliness.? Apply the mixture of honey and milk on the face. This will make your skin glow.? Thin apple slices rubbed onto oily skin will help in controlling oily shine.? Treatments like salicylic peels which are oil control skin peels when taken once a month regularly can go a long way in maintaining the skin that you desire. Also, it’s a good idea to know your skin. You can get a skin analysis done at Kaya skin clinics across the country
