Undecided Question

I cut my leg, what type of wound is it and how do I heal it?

I was shaving and slipped while I was shaving around my ankle… I didn't like nick anything but rather sliced off the first few layers of skin with my razor? The wound is about 2 in long… And blood comes out in like a spotted or dotted pattern. I used a nick pencil on it and got it to pretty much stop bleeding, but before it was bleeding quite a bit. What type of wound is this? And how do I care for it to help it heal?
