How to treat/heal extremely dry, hard, chapped, peeling lips?
I have extremely dry, hard, chapped, peeling lips recently, but I've always had chapped lips that would just peel away after a couple of days in the shower since I was around 13 years old. I've tried, vaseline, oil, neutrogena lip care, every lip balm available, blistex, burts bees wax and even hand lotion. I've been drinking around 6 glasses of water every day for several months now and still no improvement. After showering I usually scrape my lips with my finger and skin would easily peel away. It's great for only a couple of hours, then soon my lips become dry and chapped. Right now I have a cut (caused by smiling) on my lip because they are so hard and dry. I will be making an appointment with my doctor to see if there is anything regarding my health that is causing this. But in the meantime, anyone have any suggestions to help retrieve normal lips I once had? Thank you!

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Try Aquaphor. It has saved my lips. It is like Carmax but better
I don't know about anything being medically wrong about your lips so I'm not going to direct you in any way about that… I'd say that if you think something is wrong then go to the doctor:)But in the meantime you should try some peppermint Neauties. It will make your lips not hurt so bad and it may do a little bit of healing. It makes my lips really soft. I get dry and chapped lips really easily and I haven't really had any that bad since I started using it. I've used it for quite a while now and nothing as severe as it used to be… and it used to be pretty bad. This will do nothing but help your lips… it will not make it worse FOR SURE! The peppermint is tingly and cool so it makes your lips feel good… when mine are chapped it wear the peppermint for that reason. http://neauties0o0com/Category72/Peppermin… This is the peppermint. It's on sale right now so it's a good time to try it. Hope this helps:)
