How to get that "natural" look?
here's my question…….
you know on those commercials for like dove, jergen's, st. ives or covergirl-how they have all of those really pretty-looking people on there commercials? and they all look as if they have no makeup on-or maybe just a little bit-but you can't tell? or how in the movies, the "normal" girl seems to have little to no makeup on-when she really does?
well, i want to know how i can achieve that like um, Fresh Faced, Natural Beauty Look. using drugstore products, brands etc. ***or is no makeup the answer?*** also, any tips on fresh-natural looking waves for hair would be helpful too.
thanks soo much to all who answer!

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters What you are looking for is called neutrals!A "neutral" makeup is a tone that matches, mimics, or is so close to your skin tone it almost blends right in.To go for a neutral look, there are keys in each of the areas of the Makeup Trinity [face, eyes, lips]The keys to a natural face are:A: Take care of your skin! The less makeup you have to use, the better. That means a regimen with a cleanser, an astringent for the oily or porous areas of your face, and the all-important moisurizer! B: The right foundation. Liquid or powder or both, they need to match as close to your natural skin tone as possible. That means a professional consultation- don't worry, most makeup counters will match you for free, especially MAC. Once you find the shade you need, you can buy similar at a drugstore. If they don't have exactly your shade and you don't want to buy the "smart match" stuff, you can mix foundations to get the right color.C: Use a LIGHT blush. Nothing too neon or pink. This is again something an artist can help you with. The point is to look like your face just kind of flushes that way naturally, so check out which areas of your face get bright when you blush. The best way to do that is to go jog, or go out in the cold. For eyes, you have to think this way: less is more. The whole point is just to smooth, brighten, and highlight.Get a palette of beiges, champagnes, and light browns and try out what looks best. You're in the right direction with the brown pencil!Remember that the lightest colors go nearest to your browbone, and a touch of something very light in the inside corner of your eye truly opens you up and makes you look awake! Finally, lips. Check out the color that they are naturally- pink? Brown? You can use a tinted balm that matches your color for a little pop of vitality and more of that dewy, flushed look. Or, simply use a clear gloss or chapstick.I hope this helps you!
You don't need make-up your too young,It makes you old before your time, just be natural and use Oil of Olay every other day and apply Witch hazel daily.
The people you see in movies etc. are airbrushed.Nobody in the real world looks like this.Everyone has their flaws.Learn to accept and embrace them!
all of those women do wear makeup so trust me no makeup is not there answer..for your age however you probably do not need makeup ..start with a good tinted moisturizer..(just lotion with a little hint of color in it)then do just a little concealer under your eyes if you have dark circles..put on a little brown mascara or cleartry a little peach or light blush on the cheek bones for a healthy glowbuy a highlighter (can be a lotion or a powder) and put it on very lightly over the cheekbones..not much itll look like a glow if you do it correctthen just try a clear lip gloss or chapstick Source(s): cosmetologist
I don't know much about the hair part but maybe you could try curling your hair with a large curling iron with no product in you hair than lightly combing through them.as for the makeup buy a foundation one shade lighter than your skin tone, maybeline dream mousse works well. A light tone bronzer, curl your eyelashes and put on a coat of clear mascara, a thin line brown eyeliner on your lashline and top lid, then put on a lip balm close to your natural lip color burt bees makes a bunch of colors, this should work
Ok so to start either dont wear foundation or wear a really light one… Like a tinted moisturizer! It will give you a nice extra glow with out looking cakey or gross. Then you can buy a really subtle pink blush or light peach colored blush!… something really light and apply a small amount that will give you a nice hint of rosey cheeks that will look 100% natural! For blush i recommend maybeline!
Then you can buy a mascara that is like brown if you dont want it to be too obvious… Cover girls lash blast is great! But it gives you really nice big lashes so if you want a more nautral lash look i wouldnt recommend it so much! Then you can get an eye base. Something that is like skin colored to put over your eye and it will brighten it up and make your eyes very enhanced! So you can use either a skin colored eye shadow or a eye primer that is skin colored!
Then you can just use eyeliner on the outer corner of your eye. Brown will look really natural! And then for lips. You can use either a no clothes pink lipstick which is like the color of your lips but a little bit pinker and it will look very natural if you get the right color! Or you can stick to plain chapstick! Or even get a pink tinted lip balm to give your lips a nice dash of color! HOpe this helps!
