   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Yeah I would say lay off the creams. Don't put any products on your face except aloe vera. It can be found at grocery stores in the vegetable/exotic section. It's a succulent- thick leaf triangular and pointy and slice through it and apply. Have you ever had this happen with another product? If so, check the ingredients to see if they share the same. Also, compare the clinique to stuff you know doesn't irritate and decide which ingredients differ from those products you already have. Hope it works out!

   I would suggest you don't use anything else on your face. It will just irritate it even more. Put cold water on your face a few times a day. Don't wear makeup either. That would probably be the quickest way to make it go away.

   No. Just use dial soap. It works the best. But you have to make sure to take hot showers. Dial soap makes your skin dry and the steamy shower will prevent that.
