How to care for my skin during Outward Bound?
I will be going for outward bound for 5 days with my school. I live in a hot and humid country. I have acne prone skin. As you all know, outward bound is not going to have any real toilets and we will be spending the whole day under the sun and sweat buckets. Bathing time will also be limited so there will be not time for acne creams etc. Since i will be slathering sunblock(that may clog pores and too strong), my face will be dirting and clogged because of sweat and the lack of hot water(to open pores during cleansing to enable better cleaniness). How do i minimise the chances of worsening my skin and having a breakout? Any tips? Like what should i apply?
Any help is greatly apreciated. Thanks. (:
Oh and my routine there will probably be:
Wash face and apply sunblock in the morning.
Wash face at night and possibly apply acne cream.
That is if i even get to wash my face/use the toilet twice. If we even HAVE a toilet. And provided if i feel secure enough to apply my acne crean in front of strangers.

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters I have a few suggestions, depending on circumstance. For cleansing morning and night: I would forgo trying to put on an acne cream because it's one of those things you probably just won't have time to do. Instead a 3-in-1 type scrub would be excellent. Cleanser, scrub and acne medicine—-Ideally it would be nice for you to have a cleansing scrub with salicylic acid for washing your face. It will help to keep your skin clear with the physical exfoliating and the acid to clear the pores. As a backup in case you can't get to the water to wash, buy some pre-moistened makeup remover/ cleanser type facial wipes. They usually come in a pack of 24-30 and you could also use them during the day. If you can find one with some acne medicine in it that would be a nice bonus to keeping the skin clear. If you could apply a separate sunblock on your face especially made for faces, which is oil-free that will help your skin. The best thing would be to get a lotion with acne medicine in it. I sell Avon so I know they just introduced a new product which would work perfectly. It is called Clearskin? Professional Oil Free Lotion SPF 15. It blocks UVA and UVB rays, and has GLYCOLIC ACID and SALICYLIC ACID in it. But if you can't bother with a separate faceblock, try to get something that won't block your pores. I am not sure if you will have to wear insect repellant also but you can get a sunblock with insect repellent together to save having to apply two products. Finally, a facial mist could be sprayed on your face during the day, at lunch perhaps or during a break and that will help keep your skin clear and clean. You can spritz it on and then wipe off the sweat. I would bring an extra bandana just for this purpose. Buy a spritzer bottle, or use an old one you have, fill it 75% with distilled water, 25% with witch hazel and then add a couple drops of tea tree oil and lavendar oil. These are antibacterials and will help prevent pimples, it will also be soothing if you get bug bites. The others may try to make fun of you but they will be envious if you give them a spritz. Or you could get all your friends on the trip to make up a bottle, or you will find everyone will use yours and it will be gone fast!I hope this helps.
