How much can I expect my car insurance to go up?
I was in a car accident last week, I rear ended the car in front of me and pushed him into the car in front of him. It was my fault, and my car was totaled in the accident, it was an '09 civic. Im 22 and this was my first accident, how much can I expect my car insurance to go up from this?

it all depends. with the company i work for you would loose your accident free discount. you can see with your insurance company if you get renters or home owners insurance with them, that should save you money. By the way, honda's are expensive to insure. Since your car was totaled I would suggest getting a some what older car with low mileage to lower your rates. When you turn 25 you will also see another decrease. You can get your accident free discount back in about 3 years from the DATE OF THE ACCIDENT. I hope your limits are high enough to cover every one's damage and personal injury. Never skip out on coverage for rates! Let me know if you have any other questions.
