   Best Answer – Chosen by Voters When you turn 25, you should have an amazing rate (in comparison to 16-24 year olds) on your own. There might not be a huge advantage to staying on your parent's policy. Also, unless the company you're with has a policy against it, you should be okay.

   The person that told you that was correct. After the age of 18 you must be a full time student to be covered under your parents policy. Until you reach the age of 25. Sorry

   you can stay on your parents insurance as long as you are living in the household and do not have insurance of your own or a vehicle titled in your name. And in some states you can still be on their insurance even with a vehicle titled in your name. It depends on the company and what state you live in. Each state has its own requirements for insurance companies and each company has its own rules.
