How do you get insurance for a custom car? Let's say I'm filling out a car insurance form and it asks the make and model, but the car was custom made. What would I put?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters certain companies will write a custom car. the best way to get coverage on this is to call a local independent agent. they have a lot of resources and companies they write with and can find you coverage for it. Source(s): Agent
