Last year I had a car wreck. The other diver ran a red light and my SUV done a roll and a half we were upside down after it happend. My teo kids were in the car. he totaled my 2005 ford explore, and then he said he had no insurance i have never been in a wreck so i dont know what to do. Now my doctor bills and the want the payout of the car. What do i do?

Best Answer – Chosen by Voters Did you ever notify your own insurance company like you should have when the accident occurred ? If you had collision insurance, that insurance would have paid for your car (after you paid your deductible) and they would then go after (sue) the other party on your behalf. If you didn't have insurance you will have to hire a lawyer to sue for you. Source(s): Always notify your own insurance company…… Always !
You should get a personal injury lawyer to assist you with this. This is the only way that you would be able to seek damages, and help with the costs of your medical bills. If the guy doesn't have insurance, then you will have to sue him, but you will need to have a lawyer in order to do that. Good luck.
Do you have uninsured motorist insurance on your car? If so, your insurance company should be paying or at least helping you out.If your insurance company is not helping, you need to get a personal injury lawyer ASAP. Especially if this happened last year. The longer you wait, the more difficult this is going to be.
